TobagoARC (Tobago Alliance For Resilient Communities) is a newly established NGO in Tobago. It envisions a place where our planet and its people prosper in perpetuity.
TobagoARC needed a website to properly establish itself in the market. The website needed to be able to support its current and future goals.
One of the key features of the website should be its ability to accept donations for various causes. In addition, the site needed to capture membership information from its users such as Friend, Advisor and Partner. It also needed a resources section for Documents, videos, photos, news and stories. The system must also be able to facilitate e-commerce as the organization intends to sell merchandise later on to promote its causes.
After several Website Consultation sessions, the team at TECHNOKAT Solutions set out to create the vision for the website of TobagoARC.
The website was built using the WordPress platform. This platform would enable TobagoARC functionaries to manage the content themselves. WordPress also comes with steller plugins to help achieve the necessary functionalities.
Apart from WordPress, another key tool used was Elementor page builder. This tool allowed us to create a truly custom design that will wow users.
Custom Post Types were built to support the main functions of the site. These functions include membership, events, causes, documents, videos and photos.
A custom-coded donation functionality was also built to achieve the desired results.
Finally, an e-commerce feature was enabled on the site to allow the processing of donations and the sale of merchandise.
Apart from Website Design, Website Training was provided to key personnel on the use of the site. Website Marketing in the form of Technical onsite SEO was set up. A live website demonstration was also done for the organization's launch to help with promotion. TobagoARC has also secured ongoing maintenance of the site to ensure that the site is healthy.
In the end, TobagoARC has a website that is truly functional and also visually appealing to its users.
