The Tobago Reforestation and Watershed Rehabilitation Programme is a special-purpose, non-profit company established by the Tobago House of Assembly. They are mandated to increase the value of the watershed ecological systems through efficient management.
Tobago Reforestation, as it is fondly called, needed a website to cement itself in the area of reforestation in Tobago. The website had to be developed in a short space of time to bolster the launch of the organization on March 21, International Day of Forests.
As part of phase 1 of the project, the website needed to provide detailed information about the organization and its current projects and news.
In a future phase 2, the website must be able to grow with the organization. This is because even greater features such as donations and membership are planned.
TECHNOKAT Solutions was brought on board to help bring the organization's vision to life. After consultations with key personnel, a marketing concept was outlined.
Our approach to this project involved the initial domain name and system setup. We then installed the WordPress system as the chosen web design platform because of its strength and stability in Content Management.
Elementor page builder was also used to create a truly custom website that was not only modern but trendy and mobile-friendly.
We incorporated complementary colours of greens and blues into the site to make the website pop! Aspects of the logo were also cleverly infused into the site's background to promote consistency. The images chosen are bold and evoke positive emotions. Animations are also present to bring the website to life.
All the necessary functionality of projects, news and information was built into the site. As part of a growth-driven design (GDD) approach, the website can grow to incorporate any new features required by the organization. We are also on board to support and maintain all aspects of the website's management.
Ultimately, the website of Tobago Reforestation was launched successfully on the planned day of March 21, the International Day of Forests.
