This slow performance frustrated users, hurt their search engine visibility, and failed to reflect the cutting-edge nature of the electronics they sold.
In addition to the speed issues, the site suffered from security vulnerabilities and lacked the modern functionality required for a seamless e-commerce experience. The checkout process was clunky, shipping configurations were rigid, and the overall design felt outdated. Double RR Electronics needed a complete, secure overhaul that would modernize their digital storefront without losing their established brand identity and color scheme.
Project Solution
We began the project by performing a massive site overhaul to secure and stabilise the platform. Before building anything new, we meticulously scanned the system for viruses, removed obsolete data, and eliminated the bloated plugins that were throttling performance. We then executed a complete website redesign using the modern page builder, Elementor, maintaining the client's original branding and colours while introducing a trendy, sleek aesthetic. These features allowed customers to browse the vast electronics catalog with ease.
Finally, we streamlined the backend logistics and payment processing to optimize the checkout funnel. We developed custom code to handle complex free shipping thresholds and fully configured and integrated the oDeliver system for reliable local fulfillment. To wrap up the transaction experience, we seamlessly integrated the WiPay payment gateway, allowing Double RR Electronics to securely accept local credit card and end-user payments.
